Texas Country Music

If you like the steel guitar and fiddle, can't stand the sights or sounds on Nashville pop-country, and love traditional country music in a honky tonk scene... then Texas Country Music is the sound for you.

I'm a huge fan of the Texas Country sound. A sub-genre to Nashville Country, Texas artists will likely be found in the honky tonks of the Texas region and on the stages of outdoor concerts. Stillwater, Oklahoma introduced me to the music scene, and I haven't looked back. Whether you call it Red Dirt or Texas Country (guess that depends on your proximity to the Red River), you'll find some lyrics that connect with your life. So sit back and relax with some good tunes.
